Chest Pain, Left Shoulder/Under Arm

Two weeks ago I started having Chest Pains while playing tennis. I felt it may have been muscular as you tend to get stretched while playing. For 3 days it felt like someone was standing on my chest,on the 4th day my BACK LEFT SCAPULA was in extreme pain that I had a friend give me several back rubs in the area. Also on the 4th day my under arm began to hurt. On the 7th day my left pinky and ring finger begame numb and tingly. While looking up SHARP pain in back of neck down left arm. I've been to primary care, had x-ray (neg), went to the Chiropractor for adj, he wants to put me on a PT plan for 650.00. I have been to a back specialist which had MRI on CERVICAL SPINE (again NEG).
I have appt set with Neurologist on Monday. Arm pain has subsided a little, however, still there. Numbness and Tingly feeling in left hand still persists with loss of strength.  I'm 42 and active sports guy, playing to getting envolved. This is day 18.

Hey cagem, I just went to the emergency today and told them that I had a cold/stingy/sharp pain just a little above my boob(I am a male) and had this weird pain in my left arm.

They did EKG and xray all negative said that it was just some chest pain.

Any chance this is the pain you were feeling.

Its a cold stinging sensation I had it before but went away.

Since my 11/20 entry, I have been to a neurologist and he did two tests to see if my motor skills were due to an injury. The results were negative. He believed my ailment is due to a viral infection that attacts the outer part of the heart which then feeds into the nerve root. Brachail Plexitis is what he believes it to be. On this same day he had me give blood for viral testing. Steroid and time will heal he said, but not always to the same degree as it was before.

Was there presence of scapular winging? Are you left-handed or right-handed when playing tennis? Although your cervical MRI findings were unremarkable, the symptoms you presented with do suggest the presence of a pinched nerve.

You should go ahead and consult your neurologist to properly diagnose your symptoms.
