Circulation/Chest Pain NEED HELP!

by vman30, Sep 23, 2009 07:50PM
I hope someone can help me out with what has been happening to me lately..I would GREATLY appreciate it..

Brief history: I am currently on a maintenance dose of Suboxone (4mg/2x a day), and have been for about 2 months. I started abusing prescrpition painkillers after a knee surgery a year and a half ago. Thank god i got help and have doing really well but thats a different animal to whats going on here. I also have a history of concussions that has affected my concentration and memory. For that i take 10mg of adderall (adderrall) 2-3 times daily.. Also, i have been taking Trazadone for sleeping for about a month..I recently stopped the trazadone, more on that to come..

Main Issue: Over the past month or so, my hands have become increasingly stiff and tight. To the point where it takes me a good 10 minutes to get full flexability and blood flow. While it has been increasingly easy for my hands and feet to fall asleep, the constant feeling i have in my hand is not like pins and needles. It is a feeling like there is a ball in my hand when i try to close my fingers. Its like something is stopping my fingers from closing. Also, when i try to reopen my hand after bending my fingers down, the left pinky locks and opens after the rest of my fingers ( only on my left hand). Every now and then my fingers become cold, hot, and even itchy on a isolated spot. Sometimes the tips of my middle and ring fingers become numb.

I use the computer frequently so i figured the issue may be carpal tunnel..Until two nights ago i had a big scare. When i layed to goto sleep, after taking a trazadone, I noticed a pain in my chest. The pain was more annoying than really painful but still caught my attention. I tried to just fall asleep but then my left hand, then my entire arm, followed by my leg got a pins and needles sensation. When i would stand up they sensation would go away but my chest still had that annoying pain.

Question: After doing extensive research for the past two days i havent been able to come to any kind of conclusion. It doesnt sound like carpal tunnel, and i cant find anything to match whats going on with my hands. Can anyone help me out with this? Im kind of scared!

Side Note: Last night, something really weird happened when i was trying to fall asleep.. I didnt take the trazadone because i felt it may of cause my panic attack because i was so drowsy and wobbly. It made me feel like i wasnt in control when the chest issues started the night before. So, while i was laying down on my right side, i closed my eyes and then i was hit with an unexplainable JOLT. All i saw was an orange flash and my right pinky and ring finger started to bend in and shake. It was a sort of convulsion ( I know very weird). While this lasted about 2-3 seconds, it ended with something i can only describe as a pop. I was really freaked out and sat up in my bed trying to figure out what just happened. I then suddenly began to feel like i had taken a pain killer or something. This warm feeling started to pour throughout my body. All the tension around my body just went away..I know Trazadone is really an Anti-Depressant and i wonder this was because i stopped taking it? Even today after a long day of heavy lifting in a warehouse, I sat down and this wonderful warmth came over me..I know this is crazy but can SOMEONE HELP?
