Confirm my questions please!

If a Brain MRI report states "no contrast enhancement", this is a good thing, right?

thanks!

Hi!

I'm sorry, I will be more specific - my daughter has been dealing with chronic headaches - the MRI with contrast came back saying there was increased signal intensity in the right frontal lobe - an 8 to 9 mm deep white matter tract lesion with no contrast enhancement in that area or anywhere else in the brain -

thanks!

Hi,

It s difficult to give a straightforward answer to that without knowing in what respect you are asking. Normally it is a good thing however in pathological conditions like leukoencephalopathies also there is no contrast enhancement.
