I have been suffering from constant dizziness 24/7 since Jan 2016. I have had VNG testing done which pointed to central abnormality. The MRI of the brain was normal on 1.5T. Since then I have been to neurologist and neuro - otologist. Neurological exam was mostly normal and primary blood work for lupus, lyme, syphilis came back normal. Neuro - otologist said possible MAV and prescribed me Verapamil 120 mg.
I do not think I have Vestibular migraine because I get numbness in my hand and foot that lasts hours or even days sometimes. The numbness feels more like poor blood circulation like hand is coming out of falling a sleep. The dizziness is horrible, it feels like I shook my head like 30 times and I have to walk around and live like that until now.
I have tried getting appointment at different neurologist, Emory Dizziness and Balance center at Atlanta. Both came back with reply that because thorough work was done by ENT and Neuro they could not help me any further. I am at a loss as what to do next. Neuro says it could be MS and not showing up yet or any other number of conditions. So he is thinking wait and watch. I do have MRI of C - Spine and T - Spine in the pipeline and I am considering spinal tap.
Do any of you have any insight into my problem. I wish I could just wish away this whatever is going on.
