A Mystery - tremor stops in one finger, but moves on to another finger

Dear doctor:
I am a 34 year old male.I have Hashimotto's and taking Synthroid for it for the past 10 years.

A year ago I noticed tremor in my little finger. It stopped but the adjacent finger started having tremor. After moving from one finger to another finally it is now on my thumb and a little in the adjacent finger also. (only one hand). There is no weakness of any sort. My MRI is normal. Neurologist didn't think it is PD. My tremor is resting tremor. Accupuncture didn't help much. What next? Will it stop by itself? How long it will last? I sincerely appreciate if some one can diagnose my mystery symptoms.

What kind of illness has the symtom where the tremor stops in one finger, but moves on to another finger? My second question is has anyone heard about such a thing?  Anyone in the medical community has a clue?
Thanks for any help.
Jay

BTW, None in my paternal or maternal grandparent nor my parents have any sort of tremor.

Additional information: There is no problem in balance while walking or carrying something. The hand does not swing while walking.

If I sleep longer than 8hours, then when I wake up it seems to me that the tremor increases. When I sleep only 6 hours there is no increase in the tremor.
