Could this be a Brain Tumor?

Could this be a Brain Tumor?

I had a severe case of vertigo while on a flight in early May.  Started with sudden dizziness and led to sweating, shaking, hyperventilation, muscle cramps, vomiting and some horrible memories.  Was checked up by paramedics on arrival and all the vital signs were normal. Doctor diagnosed vertigo.

Started seeing halos around lights in mid-May.  At first, I felt some photosensitivity during the day and then at night - I would look at lights and see rings round them.  Hadn't ever seen rings like that around lights before.  So, like any contact-lens wearer might have thought in my position - must be those evil contact lenses - so I threw the damned things out, only to realise a month later that the halos had gotten worse.  I went to an opthalmologist to get my eyes checked around mid-June.  Nothing wrong with my eyes at all.  Started to get worried now.

Went for a blood test and a urine sample in mid-July.  Nothing of concern found there.  The halos have been getting steadily worse, and at the moment what I see every night has become quite ridiculous.  Everything is fogged up, and the bright lights have a thick circular fog around them.

I started feeling pressure in my head last week, and now the pressure seems to have developed into migraine headaches.  The pressure seems to be localised to the back left side of my head.  I'm having trouble getting to sleep (3:30am right now) and I have trouble getting out of bed in the morning too.  The headaches seem to be worse in the morning and not so bad at night (until I lie down to sleep).

It seems neurologist appointments are hard to get in Ontario.  Couldn't find one until the end of August (and that was scheduled back in mid-June by my Opthalmologist).  Does anyone know how I can get an appointment quickly?  My symptoms are really worrying me.  I need a neurologist asap.

Any ideas about what the problem with me is?  Could it be a brain tumor perhaps?

Hi,

How are you?
Your symptoms could be due to migraine. Migraine can cause headaches, dizziness, vomiting, ocular symptoms like zig zag bright colored lights and halos.
In ocular migraine there are only eye symptoms without headache. The possibility of brain tumor and TIA or stroke also cannot be ruled out.
If you have trouble getting an early appointment with a neurologist, please consult a physician and undergo a clinical evaluation. You can discuss these possibilities with him.
Let me know if you need more information. Take care!
