head pains

hello, i have been having these wierd pulsating pains in the top of my head for 3 days now. i have had these pains before but for some reaason i am just not getting any relief the best way to describe these pains are...pulsating, throbing. they make me feel as though  my head is going to burst at anytime. can someone pease shed some light on this for me??.

Hey, I remember getting those EXACT sensations many years ago when I was a teenager; it eventually went away and never came back. Still I'd have it checked out anyway; could be just hypertension but only a doc can tell
