Hi,
I think your symptoms are probably related nerve root being injured or compressed at the exit from vertebra.
Nerve Root Pain - nerve root pinching / irritation / compression / trapping is always associated with signs of nerve dysfunction (not working properly) such as pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness. The causes of the irritation are: - within the spine Annular Tear (small disc tear), Disc Prolapse (herniation), Spinal Stenosis (narrowing of the internal diameter of the spinal canal) among others. Spinal Nerve Root Pain (Radiculopathy) can arise when nerves become pinched or trapped within the bony spinal canal or vertebral column.
I think you should consult a neurologist at earliest and get a scan of cervical spine done.
Hope this helps.
Bye.
Thank you so much for the response. I will most certainly set up a visit with a neurologist. Have a great day.........
Hello Dr,
My name is Diva and I also have had shock sensations in my head four times.
Two times, it came right after I took a medication, with empty stomack..and after I ate some salt, I felt better.
And once was right after I got home, working the whole day..I admit I did not eat properly that day..
I am really scared to get feel this shock sensation again..
I went to a nerologist and had all exams done, (head, spine)..and nothing was found!
Should I be worried? What can I do to never have this again?
Thanks
Diva
