Extreme sporadic and changing nerve pains in the pubic area?

About a year and a half ago, I suddenly got a very sharp pain in the middle of my pubic area, WHICH only hurt if something/anything applied pressure on it. By pressure, I even mean a light press of a hand. Since then, Ive been getting these, so believed nerve pains, sometimes daily or weekly. The pains are often different and occur in different places as well. They used to be only in the pubic are, one day maybe on the left, then middle or right...higher and lower. The pains are always very painful, but somedays extreme. I only notice the pains if something applies pressure on the area; mostly being my jeans or pants. Sometimes they only hurt when something, other than my hand or when I willingly try to touch the area to see if i have pains, such as the pants I wear or when I accidentally somehow apply pressure without being aware of it. Then I have pains where even if I were to rest my finger on the area it would occur. The pains range from 8-10 on a scale and I really am not dramatizing the situation. Similar pains also have been occuring on my stomach and chest, ofcourse on different areas depending on the day. I have seen 33 different doctors for this from various fields and various countries. Please help
Thank you.

I have a stabbing pain in my left hip area very close to be pubic area. It seems to radiate down my inner thigh. It hurst when I've been sitting for any lenght of time and then try to stand up. It will be stabbing one minute and then a constant ache for hours. I have had to quit my job (was a personal trainer) have had surgery for what they thought was a torn labrum of the hip joint, I've seen two orthopeadic surgeons and rheumatologist and three chiropractors. Today I saw a neurologist after having my third MRI, there is no sciatica or anything wrong with the spine. As a matter of fact, he said at my age he can see that I work hard to stay fit and it was the best "picture" he had ever seen. What the &)$@#$ could be going on with me?!  It's been 3 1/2 years now.!

No, I just have a hard time doing meds! I already take several for several health problems. I have arthritis that bothers me alot but I can't take the usual meds because of kidney desease, so I just bite the bullet.O:)  Lisine won't hurt the kidneys I just don't like taking pills all day long! But I do have a friend who had neuralgia on the side of his face and said it really helped. Also my wife takes lisine when she get fever blister outbreaks and it lessens the pain and duration. Fever blisters are caused by the same class of viruses that cause chicken pox and shingles. Again these cause inflammation of the nerves. So I hope you can get some relief!

I have had pains like that of and on for many years, mostly in my hands and arms, but sometimes in my face and genitals. It is a neuritis - inflamed nerve endings. That might be your problem. It is sometimes cause by a virus that hides along nerves and can be activated during times of stress. Fever blisters are an example, caused by the herpes simplex virus. Also shingles is caused by the same virus, and both are extremely painful! You might want to try Lysine, which is an amimo acid that helps with some of these inflamations. You can buy it at drug stores and places that sell vitamins and supplements. It's completely safe and might help.Try some and let us know if it helps!
