FALLING ON MY HEAD CAN THAT CAUSE ABNORMAL EEG? ATIVAN WITHDRAWL(withdrawal)? Trileptal 1200mg

Hello everyone,
My name is Derrick I'm 24 years old and very healthy, well this is my 1st day on this site and I've read lots of posts... The people sound very helpful and seem really nice.

Well i hope i am posting in the correct place. lol  

Now my question is I've had 2 Seizures in 1 Day and this was 13 days ago and the seizures were about 5 hrs. apart. 1. My 1st seizure was on my living room couch i was on my cell phone talking long distance to my friend explaining i was out of my Meds. and i have bad Anxiety then shortly after that i woke up with EMT's all around me (MY FRIEND CALLED 911) they said my eyes were dilated, BP was elevated 200/110 and i had purplish lips. So i get to the hospital and I'm waiting for 5 hours and so the Dr. don't take me serious just sends me home to get rest (STILL WITHOUT ATIVAN OR MEDS) 2. The 2nd seizure was at the Hospital shortly after the Dr. released me to go home, this seizure must have been bad outside on the pavement and then i woke up in the Hospital Bed (I DON'T REMEMBER NOTHING ELSE) so this time i guess i didn't have to wait in the waiting room for hours or anything like that and i woke up with a very big ball on the left side of my head from falling down and it hurt really bad and i was crying, i also had bruises all over and bit my tongue.  

HONESTLY IT TAKES A LOT TO MAKE ME CRY.

A little history about me I've never had a history of Seizure(s) in my life ever only Cholesteatoma when i was younger in my left ear and neither has my Mom or Dad or my 15 brothers or sisters ever had Seizure problems... The Nuro. at the hospital said I had these what they call Tonic-Clonic Seizures...... Now I'm wondering if this had anything to do with these seizures MY MEDS. I WAS OUT OF??  Exactly (3) days after i went COLD TURKEY and i felt sick with lots of Diarrhea. I was taking Ativan 2mg 3-4 times ED, Hydrocodone 10mg/325 4-5times ED and Soma 350mg 3-4 times ED.. and I was taking these Meds. for about 3 months my Primary Dr. wrote the anyways after all these pills i just wanted to stop them all so i did all at once in 1 day. Now the Nuro. has me on Trileptal 1200mg ED and i am going to take myself off of it slowly because i don't think i need it.... I really think this was all from the withdrawals and I'm still tapering off Ativan 1mg slowly.

Do you think the mix of medication the withdrawals had anything to do with my Seizure(s)??? The Nuro. said i had a spike on my left Frontal Lobe, So could the fall of made my EEG abnormal??? or the withdrawal??? or what??? I honestly think he put me on meds to cover his *** because i had 2 in 1 day and 1 was on the hospital property right after they released me, So IMO i think that if i had another one they can always say i have meds now???

I'm now at home and I've not had a Seizure sense the (2) Seizures i
had 13 days ago thank god because i don't remember anything at all... My
Dr. at the Hospital had me on Ativan 1mg every 6 hrs. IV and Tabs. and
the day i was released 10 days ago the Dr. put me on Trileptal 1200mg ED 600mg in
the AM and 600mg in the PM. but all honesty ever since the Dr. put me
back on Ativan i didn't have another Seizure or anything and i feel great
myself again and i know Ativan is an Anticonvulsant but i was taking it
for my Anxiety originally. Now i sometimes get tingling sensation on my head,
SEVERE DIARRHEA, ringing in the ears and headaches and i never used to
get this so I don't know what it's from maybe Trileptal?? or the
Detoxing from all the other Medications?? i no longer take
Hydrocodone 10mg/325 and Soma 350mg they also did not give it to me in
the Hospital and i was in pain but i am now tapering off Ativan also 1mg 2xED. I honestly want off
all these Meds. including Trileptal 1200ED, I don't need this in my life I'M DONE. I spoke with plenty of Pharmacists in the past 10 days and they all point out to the Ativan 2mg Withdrawal and some also say Ativan and Hydrocodone???

I need answers. So please help me with as many answers.... thank you and God Bless!!

Hi, Thank you for your question. After head injury such kind of symptoms like seizures, paralysis may be common due to already damaged part of brain and may remain symptomatic or progress in future. Although any permanent cure can not be assured in such cases, but symptomatic relief, physiotherapy, avoiding any triggering factors and life style modification help you in certain extent.
