Guitarist with pinky issues

I'm a guitarist at a music school in Atlanta. Lately I've been feeling some strange sensations in my pinky, and pain in my elbow, which would obviously suggest the ulnar nerve is being squeezed. I went to a physical therapist and that helped, but the sensation never really left. I don't have any other symptoms, nothing like cubital tunnel syndrome, but I'm worried that the muscles might be wasting away and will have long term effects on my playing. If there's someone with this kind of issue or a doctor who is experienced in musician related injuries, please let me know what I should do.

A lot of guitarists do experience the symptoms you are having.  The elbow pain might be related to a lateral or medial epicondylitis and your abnormal sensation in your little finger might be related to a nerve compression or a strain in your wrist area.  You could consult an orthopedic surgeon or a rehabilitation medicine doctor to prescribe you some pain medications and advise you on some physical therapy procedures to alleviate your symptoms. There are also some "aids" such as wrist supports that have been reported to help in conditions such as this.

Also, I'm completely healthy in every other aspect, and my ring finger isn't going through any issues at all, just my little finger
