Gullain-Barré

by LULA880818, Apr 07, 2009 02:40PM
My grand father has being diagnosed with SGB but an atypical one because he is presenting fever and they cannot find the source of infection or virus if it is one...he is already with an respiratory tube and has lost mobility.
I would like to know how difficult is to find the infection/virus and how severe will be the damage of the nerves, how will recovery be?
thanks
