c spine stenosis and aspiration problems

I have c spine stenosis. I was diagnosed in November. I have been having problems with aspirating and got pneumonia in November and then had bronchitis. Could the aspirating and swallowing trouble be related to the stenosis? Or do you have any ideas. I wasn't having problems with the aspirating or swallowing problems before. Could this be neurological?  I don't know who I should be asking this to.  Thanks for any of your help.

The answer is it could have a neurological etiology, however you can speculate all day, but you need an evaluation by a specialist in swallowing, M.D. type. These guys are pretty good, but you generally need a referal under union rules.
