Hello first of all, thank you for reading my post. I am going through symptoms that I cannot pin point what the name of illness is/cause is. It all "may" have started after getting chronic rhinitis/sinitis back in 2012 and yes, I still have rhinitis problem / inflammation problem. So, I do believe it must have direct ties or at least indirect ties to my Chronic sinus problem.
symptoms:
-Visual disturbances: visual snow / abit of after images / trailing? vision
-Depression
-various head pressures / some head aches.
-brain Fog
-inability to think well.
-unable to speak fluently
-very bad short term memory
-my brain processing feels snow / slow reaction time?
Thinking back, the brain fogging, vision impairment lacking emotion, and thinking abilities worsened year after year, since 2012. Then on feb 2016, visual symptoms and everything else just got so much worse on a particular day after I woke up from my sleep. I panicked so badly on that day, thinking I was having some sort of psychological episode. It seemed to get better after couple of days, then it just is getting a little worse and worse, each day.
My frustration is, these symptoms are 24/7 (depression, brain fog, vision abnormalities), even when my sinus clears up. Sure, I could have developed depression over those years since I read somewhere that Chronic sinus problem are strongly linked to depression, I can never understand why I have visual distortions. Doctors do not understand why I have visual snow, trail vision etc.. because they are not symptoms coming from depression. I did have a test done twice for Lyme disease, because it is known to sometimes cause those vision impairments.. but they returned negative, and noted that I might have had some exposure to bartonella virus due to the fact that small amount was detected. I have had MRI scan come back clean, and various blood tests came back clean. as well. Please help me! Thank you.
