Is it Alzheimers or Brain Cancer?

I have been diagnosed with a Pinealcytoma, 1cm, since 2002.  Then, upon to a new state and seeing another
physician; my symptoms and diagnosis in now determined to be Alzheimers Disease due to the shrinking of my
brain size and the damage to some of the lobes of my brain.  Alzheimers runs in my family.  An uncle, though,
diagnosed with Alzheimers, died and an autoposy revealed that he had Brain Cancer.  How does one determine
whether damage to the brain and the relevant symptoms shown are actually caused by Alzheimers Disease or
is it Brain Cancer?  Is there a blood test that can be given to verify brain cancer versus Alzheimers at this time?

I truly appreciate your candor with your answers.  I am female, 58, and have had significant joint and muscular
injuries all my life requiring several surgeries:  knees, toes, wrist, lower spine, shoulders, etc.; but nothing to do
with the brain or with cancer (as far as I am aware).  Six out of 9 siblings have died of complications from Alzheimers
on my father's side of the family.

If there is a blood test that can be taken to determine whether or not, I have a brain tumor or alzheimers; I would truly
be appreciative knowing where I can have this blood test done and analyzed.
