Is it a Femoral nerve problem

by mmiller54sc, Jan 08, 2009 11:38AM
My girlfriend has had shooting pains in her right hip and leg. She is on painkillers to help, but they are not doing much. She has had surgery for scoliosis when she was young, about 20 years ago. The doctor took a bone from her hip to put in her back. Now, she has constant pain at the point where the bone was taken in her hip. The pain goes from her hip all the way down to her foot. The doctor prescribed Lyrica, but we are trying to get pregnant. She says her hip goes numb sometimes. The pain is getting worse and the painkillers are not helping. It seems to me it must be a nerve problem.
