Is it possible to get a herniated disk from a Lumbar Puncture

I was in the hospital two days ago for a severe headache.  They did a CT scan and a lumbar puncture.  Both were fine.  Unfourtunatley I have had severe low back pain since.  Today they had to do a blood patch because the hole was leaking CSF.  Now my pain is even worse.  I cant barely walk, my left leg hurts with some numbness and tingling and muscle spasms.  Can someone get a herniated disk from a lumbar puncture or does anyone know what else it could be?

Have you had any help with this problem? The reason I ask is that I've had a Lumbar Punture a few years ago and have had severe back pain ever since with some other problems - possible nerve related. When they did the LP, they had trouble getting the needle in and the Dr kept poking around in there and I kept feeling a sharp pain going down into my leg. Now I have severe pain in the lumbar and pains in my sciatic nerve and in my legs, neck. I wonder too if they did some damage.
