oops i meant echo cardiogram. im 4 11 . no my fingers actually dont bend back far at all. my mom and sister have mitral valve prolapse. i have never been on meds for this because i was told it was mild but now that im 28 it seems to be getting worse...im really scared that im working up to a heart attack but i dont have insurance
Prolapse of any heart valve is a reason for concern. ECGs are not really diagnostic for valve prolapse. Murmurs might be heard with S3 and S4 clicks. A doppler echocardiogram would be diagnostic. Has your Dr. started you on any drugs to prevent the formation of clots? Are you of a lanky build? Do your fingers bend backwards more than most people? To have three valves that prolapse is pretty rare unless you might have one of the many connective tissue diseases like Marfan syndrome. Collagen diseases can effect other internal organs including the kidneys. Depending on your Cardiac Ejection Fraction, your heart function might lead to fatigue. Start with the cardiologist since the heart and clots are very dangerous. They will draw a bunch of blood anyhow (maybe an SMA-24) which will include Thyroid, kidney and liver function. I'd start from what is known, and work in the rest of the symptoms along the way.

i forgot to mention i have had 2 electrocardiograms done both concluded that i have a mild prolapses with 3 of my heart valves
Welcome to medhelp with your query. Excessive tiredness and fatigue is commonly seen in metabolic and endocrinal conditions like diabetes , hypothyroidism, anemia , regular episodes of migraines. You need to see a physician who would like to do certain blood tests to rule out possible causes for these symptoms. Blood sugar levels, renal function including blood urea and serum creatinine, cardiac evaluation with an electrocardiogram, serum hormone levels like T3, T4, TSH to check if diabetes or hypothyroidism is causing these symptoms. LH, FSH and androgens along with glycemic workup for checking polycystic ovarian syndrome with a metabolic syndrome( diabetes mellitus type 2) since you have irregular periods, tingling and numbness left arm with lightheadedness , polydipsia and polyuria. A hemogram should be done to rule out anemia , MRI neck would be required later for cervical spondylosis and disc prolapsed causing compression of nerve roots to the left hand. Treatment can be started once the cause has been ascertained. Migraine may need treatment by avoiding triggers and drug therapy according to your physicians’s prescription. I hope this helps.
Wow. Is your chest hurting and arm numb and tingly right now? If so you really should get to the ER like yesterday.
