As an ex ketamine addict I know the seriously damaging effect ketamine can have on the body and am shocked to hear that a doctor is willingly prescribed it to a patient as a means of helping them.
Although I can offer no advice on how it affects seizures or colonscopy, I am very curious to know why ketamine was actually given to a patient and what the doctor wished to achieve through such a dangerous and damaging drug?
My son was diagnosed with temporal lobe seizures. He is 11 years old. He has been on Lamictal, but the side effects were worse than the seizures. He sometimes has 50 plus seizures a day. His seizures started three years ago after being given the drug Ketamine for a colonscopy. I think that Ketamine caused his seizures and the doctors agree there is a possibility, but there are no findings or documentation to prove this. I would like to talk to someone that has temporal lobe seizures and see if they were given the drug Ketamine at any time prior to onset of seizures.
any information on this and I also wrote more earlier Gracem
