MRI findings

Prominent peri vascular spaces are noted in both basal ganglia and centrum semiovale bilaterally,  which are non specific.

Perivascular spaces (PVS), also known as Virchow-Robin spaces are fluid filled spaces that surround perforating vessels in the brain. They are normal findings and occur commonly in the lower half of the basal ganglia. Sometimes they can be mistaken for cysts.
