Question: WE are going to have a MRI to determine if these lumpsLumps in the breasts are cysts and not melanona lesion. Can an MRI determine "CONCLUSIVELY" a cysts from a melanoma lesion/mass?
Thanks for writing in.
MRI is a very useful tool to visualize soft tissues. It will be able to differentiate a melanoma from a cyst. Melanoma will be seen as hard tumor while cyst will be seen as a fluid filled space.
Hope this answers your question.
