Migrane? Stress? Or Something worse?

Alright, my 19 year old brother Michael woke up with this pressure in his head. He is unsure what it is and had no accidents beforehand which could of caused anything abnormal. He explained it as a weird pressure on the top on his head, headaches, followed with dizziness when getting up, and numbness on his ear. He has had this since this morning, and it is now Midnight. Not sure of other details as far as what other symptoms are present, but what signs should he look for etc.? I've read up on numerous causes, like TIA, CVA, Nerve Damage, Sinus infection, etc. but I am still unsure, and I am not a doctor to diagnose, I just want to know when a doc should be called.

Migraine like headache can be throbbing, one sided of face & head and preceded by aura (starts with blurred vision). Cluster headache may appear as burning, explosive in nature and tear appears from eyes. Tension headache originates with stress and anxiety disorder.
