More Spine Problems

by daesnana, Apr 27, 2007 12:00AM
Hello,
I have had spine problems for the last few years. I had a fusion at L 4-5 and C 5-6 & 6-7. Also a laminectomy at L3-4. I have mild narrowing at T 10-11 with anterior protrusion of the disc., but we haven't checked on that since Oct. 2004. Here is the MRI's I've just had done, I don't understand them. I've had a bowel movement while urinating and not felt it.The doctor's assistant had me come in the day after she read the results, but when I went the doctor,is just getting me a tens unit and put me on Lyrica 75 mg x2 a day. They are making me tired and dizzy so far,(2nd day).
At LI -2, there is mild degenerative disk bulge.
At L2- 3, there is grade 1 retrolisthesis, with the eccentric left paramedian disk osteophyte complex. Combination of findings produces moderate stenosis of left lateral recess, with possible slight mass effect on lateral recess L3 root, when combined with posterior facet hypertrophy. There is mild central stenosis at right lateral recess narrowing.
At L3- 4, there is mild degenerative disk bulge, without significant lateral recess or central stenosis. IMPRESSION:
Status post L4- 5 lumbar fusion with minimal anterior extradural enhancing scar
L2- 3 grade 1 retrolisthesis with degenerative disk osteophyte complex/asymmetric left paramedian protruding disk producing mild central stenosis and asymmetric moderate left lateral recess stenosis.
Cervical:  Diffuse degenerative disk disk desiccation is noted.
At C2-A3, there is mild degenerative disk bulge.
At C3-A4, there is mild right paramedian degenerative disk osteophyte complex producing no significant stenosis.
At C4 five, there is mild right paramedian degenerative disk osteophyte complex/disk bulge.
There is mild levo convexity of upper thoracic spine.
IMPRESSION: Multilevel degenerative disk osteophyte complexes/disk bulging, more significant at C4 five. Thanks, sorry so long!! daesnana
