My head throbs and ear hurts severe migranes

Ok this has been going on for years. I take no asprin everyday about 3 to 4 times a day my migranes are throughout the day but worse at night i wake up in alot of pain my head throbs it feels like its going to bust and my ear and neck hurt when it happens and my headaches last all day and the night was are the worse like i said and it will last hours 3 hours usually. I had a scan done about 4 years ago nothing was on it she gave me some type of medicine for the migranes and it made them worse si i did not take and i have not been back. Can anyone give me some input on this situation? Thanks amanda
