Myasthenia Gravis and Neurontin

I was wondering if anyone out there may have Myasthenia gravis and is/or was taking neurontin for pain.  My doctor just prescribed this med for me and I am curious if has been a "helper" for anyone or if anyone has had any side effects from it.  I am always one that researches my meds and sometimes I believe that when I read something "bad" about a med I refuse to take it!!

I take a cousin of Neurontin, called Lyrica, and it is a wonder drug for me.  I had sharp pain in my lumbar spine, and it's the only thing that made that stop.  Side effects went away after a week or so, which included being off balance and feeling silly.  My advice would be to take the medicine, it should help very quickly with all the misery you're dealing with, and if I had Myasthenia Gravis, hey, I'd be willing to take morphine!  And I'm a vegetarian, used to study jujitsu, so when I got in a situation where I had to start taking medicines, while each have little drawbacks, were it not for them, my life would not be worth living.
