Need Answers

I am 24 years old and for the past two years i have been suffering from problems with my back/left leg.I have difficult walking up stairs, lifting, standing on my tippy toes and walking in general. For two years i have been dealing with a neurologist and a metabolic doctor who both diagnosed me with mitochondria however my muscle biopsy results came back saying i did have features of mitochondria but not ones good enough to say this is whats effecting my walk.So the metabolic doctor said she would not be able to help me and that i didnt have mitochondria but the neurologist thinks different.

Could anyone shine some light on this for me as this is really affecting my life and the doctors in Ireland cant help me and are to slow in even trying to help me.

Yes i got a nerve conduction test done, a mri and a needle examination done. I have no numbness or pain or.I did use to have a pain down my left leg and a serve pain in my lower back/cox in the mornings however both these are now gone. As far as i know i have no other symptoms just the muscle weakness in the lower half of my body. Its nearly like my left leg is dead when walking.

What types of test have they done for your back? Have you had a nerve conduction test done? Do you have any other symptoms of mitochondria?  Do you have any numbness tingling or pain in back or legs? Sorry all I have are more questions but I was wondering if it could be a spinal problem causing your troubles. Best of luck to you.
