1.5 years ago I had blurryness in my eyes and numbness increasing on my left side. I took myself to the emergency room thinking stroke. MRI and ultrasound of neck clear. Sent home with diagnosis of TIA. Symptoms never left and have gotten worse. Symptoms include numbness/tingling in hands, neck face and feet which now goes to both sides of my body. Nasea times, 4 times I Have gotten extreme cramps in the back of legs, pin pricks sensations in arm and legs, itching on the back of my head inside ears, feeling super charged at times, words can tumble out quicker than I want, unable to relax, like my nerves are constantly firing. Tremors in my hands at time, trouble focusing, forgetting a task that I go to do. Symptoms now also include heart palpitations and pains in my chest and sternum. Racing heart at times causing my hands to go completely numb and feeling dizzy/light headed ( this has happened twice in the last 2 months). I am hyper reflexive as well. Tests I have had that are all normal: MRI of brain, neck, thoracic spine w and w/o contrast, EEG, 72 hour EEG, the neurological test where they insert the electrodes in my arms and legs. Blood tests: Lymes, Lupus, ALS, copper, mercury, lead. Copper was raised (221) so was tested a second time as well as Ceruloplasmin which were both normal. I am about to see my fourth neurologist and am getting desperate for any thoughts, ideas that others might have. I am currently only on birth control tabs. Please help.
