Please don't panic. I think after the MRI of cervical spine he will start you on a proper treatment. Since your nerve conduction test as well as MRI back and brain is normal, now cervical spine is the only remaining test.
I hope that you are not a diabetic and also hope that your thyroid function tests are normal.He must be looking for some myelopathy in the neck MRI. Don't worry.
Do inform us after your Neck mri.

Yes it is advisable to undergo a CT scan of the neck to rule out causes like disc herniation, disc prolapse, cervical stenosis, bony spurs al of which can cause nerve compression resulting in symptoms of burning pain and tingling numbness.
