Nerve Damage

I had a rotator cuff surgery in 2008 at which time a nerve was damaged in my left arm. In 2009 another doctor tried to correct the problem to no avail. I was sent to a pain management doctor. I had Ganglion Stellate Blocks which did not help. I also had a spine stimulator installed in 2010 and removed in 2010 as it caused more pain. I have seen a chiropractor and have had 3 acupuncture treatments. I currently take about 3 pain pills a day in order to survive and the pain is still consistent. Is there any thing that can be done to relieve this burning and pain which I experience each day? I feel I have tried every avenue and the pain meds continue to upset my stomach and cause me a lot of depression and are not helping t he pain.

I've been there and done that. I am in need of a total shoulder surgery, but was told yesterday that I  can't even be considered for it until I am 75 yrs old.
I'm 57....very frustrating. Nerve damage is difficult to control and to get rid of once it's been there for a long time...2+ yrs. I can only share what I have done to deal with my pain...as the Pain Management merry-go-round I was on only kept me ON it. I got myself OFF ALL PAIN MEDS, regardless of the pain. I got my memory back within a few months, which they told me was from Menopause, and I finally sleep again with nothing but a sound conditioner machine. I only use it because the cats romp all night.
I can't say you should do what I have, but I can tell you I am happier now, in spite of the pain I have most of the day EVERY day.
