Neural Surgeon

Hello! my mum has been sick and for a very long time she has not been able to walk again, her joints are weak and legs are swollen, i have taken her for CT scan and AM thinking of taking her for MRI, will it help or can someone advice me on the same. the sickness looks like paralysis or stroke.

with regards.

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of her symptoms or suggest a management plan. Her issues could be related to issues with the joints or to neuro-muscular causes. I would suggest consulting a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
