Hi:
Can somebody answer my question:
I been having this burning and electric sensation throughout my body mostly my head it will last for a few seconds.  My scalp feels very sore after wards cannot touch my scalp without soreness for a day or so.  Sometimes when its winding outside my scalp is sore.  I do not have headaches and I do not feel burning in my feet or hands but I do get the burning and electric sensation in my legs lower and upper.  This has been going on for 30 years.  I do not have high blood pressure, high sugar, or heart disease.  Thanks.

Thank you for the information.  I have a eye doctor checking me out for neuromuscular disease.  I do have double vision in my left eye on and off with pressure in my right ear.  I also have balance problems on and off.  Once again thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!

If the burning sensation is in scalp and legs only then it could be due to multiple pinched nerves. You will need nerve conduction studies, EMG and MRI for confirmed diagnosis. Peripheral neuropathies too could be the cause and occur due to diabetes, lupus and thyroid problems. Treatment is usually conservative with manual therapy, physiotherapy and pain killers. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
