Neurologist Reject Diagnosis

hi. hope this isn't to boring for all. maybe year and half ago i was hit by a car crossing the street. sometime later i was diagnosed with tbi. by this point my body - trunk and pelvis had become somewhat deformed. i had also developed a gait issue and had trouble walking heel to toe and know have to use a cane.

i have been in tbi / stoke rehab where i learned what the "movemetn" i was doing was since i really didn't notice.

anyway. yesterday i got into ucsf movement disorder clinic. spent half hour to forty five minutes with resident. then doctor came in after and told me there was nothing wrong. it was all in my head. she said conversino disorder.

of course i was shocked. i have had to deal with quite a bit. my eyes now burn and saw a specialisit who diagnosed something that was not working. my body is utterly ruined.

my body if standing still sways. legs shake, gait messed up etc. basically what i learned from pt is that my trunk is the centrifugla issue with it.

anyway i asked her.

so you are saying that i did this to my body psycologically? yes.  so i can fix this myself? yes. she said you have nothing on your mri.

i have a serious pre existing mental problems i.e. manic depression which seems to come up a lot. but i've never been hurt before.

of course i find what she said to be embarrasing, shocking, and goes against everything i've been told. but my question is can i basically alter my entire torso just through thought?

thank you

i have no idea what to do now. i truly do not want to see another neuro person again. i don't have a disease. though pt found neurological issues with my hand use and movement the neurologists never find this and find me to be a joke

included a photo of what happened after the accident. it took quite a bit of time and is continuing to get worse
