Numbness & Tingle in my back

Numbness & Tingle in my back

I have been having constant numbness from top of my shoulder to my lower back about 3" wide for 4 days When it first onset I had been at work standing in 1 posostion for over 3 hours looking down and working. I first had the pain then the numbess. It went all the way to my toes and down my right arm. I went to doctor and they put me on flexril I am not having trouble with my feet and legs now they quit tingling and most of the numbess in my arm is gone but the 3 inch stip down my back is still the same.
Scared and confused.

Hi,
How are you feeling?
I think you are having neuropathy.
Pain, tingling and numbness are signs of neuropathy. Nerve involvement may be single (mono-neuropathy) or multiple (poly-neuropathy).
This peripheral nerve pathology can be due to Diabetes, Prediabetes, Vitamin deficiency, and altered blood pressure status, any nutritional deficiency, and abnormal endocrine status, compression of nerve or impingement of nerve at time of exit from Vertebrae. You should be doing HbA1C, ESR, serum protein/immuno-electrophoresis, and vitamin B12, BUN, and creatinine levels.
Keep me informed if you have any queries.
Bye.
