Other medications
My daughter is 2yrs. of age. She was fine up until 8  months, she started having seizures and Phenobarbital was the medication for her. Now she cant do anything at all (walk,talk,eat,grab) nothing. Is their any other medication out their to try for Jeannin.   Thank you

Hi

What is the diagnosis made by the doctor for the seizures? Is it generalised tonic clonic epilepsy or partial seizures or febrile seizures? How frequently does she have seizures? There are a lot of medications available for the treatment of seizures depending on the type of seizures that the patient is experiencing. The other alternative medications include lamotrigine, carbamazepine, valproate, topiramate, etc. Please speak with your doctor about all these.
