Pins and needles - still!

Hi there. I have been having pins and needles in my legs, hands and feet for 10 month now. I get slight sensation changes in my big toes and sometimes the odd finger. I get quite sensitive to the cold and am constantly hugging a hotwater bottle. The pins and needles were constant for about 4 months and then pretty much disappeared, then they became intermittant. Now they seem to be constant again. The worst thing at the moment is my legs seem to be a little oversensitive. Like all the hairs are prickly and it drives me mad! I seem to get sensations in 1 part of my shin (1 little spot) and this is the first symptom I had 10 months ago, then it was numbness in fingers, then pins and needles in hands, then in feet, then legs, then after a while it was my lip.

I have seen a neurologist and had a lot of blood tests, all of which are clear. An MRI (without contrast) which was also clear. He said here is n point in investigating further unless anything changes. He doesn't know that it has got a little worse and it is also in my lip, but they are very non specific symptoms I have been told. I don't want them to think I am either making it up or complaining at the slightest thing. Any help would be totally appreciated.

I have seen a lot of forum posts with very similar symptoms to this and doctors cannot seem to find out what it is. It is so frustrating.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the fact I find it very hard when talking sometimes. I am talking away and suddenly forget what on earth I am talking about, plus I cannot think of simple words and struggle to answer simple questions as I cannot simply find the words. My GP dismissed this completely but I see it as an issue. My husband has noticed that it has got worse over the past year. It seems to drive him mad when I cannot complete a conversation. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to make conversations difficult.
