Poor vision due to papilledema prior to revision

by lezliej, Aug 10, 2009 01:22PM
My daughter, age 16, just had a VP Shunt revision. Her vision went from 20/20 in both eyes to 20/100R and 20/90L prior to revision. One month later....she is at 20/60R and 20/400L! Does anyone have experience in vision loss due to papiledema....how long should I wait to realistically see improved vision? Very concerned.... any suggestions or experiences you'd like to share would be helpful. thank you
