In my childhood (below 10 years), I had the case of fits and it was cured with some Ayurvedic medicine.   Recently I got an attack of dryness of my mouth followed by shaking of hands and legs and losing consciousness for few seconds immediately after playing a game of badminton.  (I did skip my normal food for the last 24 hours of complaint). From the symptoms I had, I could say that a sort of convulsion took place. In general, I now-a-days feel a situation of lightly intoxicated and a sort of black out and also affecting the vision.  This slight problem again reappeared again after a game of badminton.  If this prolonged, I am afraid I will lose total consciousness for long period or it may affect the brain adversely.  Today as well, I felt similar disorder and went and checked my bp.  It showed 92 - 140.  Also there is a sort of numbness at the right side of my tongue.

Hi,

Since, both the episodes occured after your badminton game, it could be dehydration, which precipitated the symptoms like seizures.

Dehydration can preceipitate seizures in susceptible individuals. It's the electrolyte imbalance, induced by dehydration, which is responsible for triggering seizures.

Please consult a neurologist, EEG examination and complete electrolyte profile can help in making a diagnosis. Avoid overexerting your self.
