Hypersensitive skin and pain on (only) right side.

Hello!
I have very sensitive skin on only the right side of my body which began on/around the time of my son's birth in late March '15. While pregnant, my lower extremities kept going numb, especially when I tilted my head forward, but the Doctor insisted that was normal (he was my 6th child, I knew that wasn't normal for me). After I had my son, the sensitivity got substantially worse to the point that simple touch would feel like my skin was being burned off. That side of my body (from under my bra down to my toes) feels as though it's on fire, constantly. Some days the pain is worse and it feels prickly, some days I want to cry because I can't even lay on that side. It has not gotten better, even slightly, in the past 18 months. I've tried to see a Neurologist but because my husband is military, we're limited to military Doctors and whoever they send us to. The on-base Doctor didn't have time for me and the odd-base Doctor was more shocked and chatty about the fact that I have 6 kids, than the fact that I'm living with daily pain. I can usually handle the pain but the slightest thing makes it excruciating. For instance, I got a scratch on my lower right leg and it felt as though someone had carved me up. Normally I have very high pain tolerance, I mean - delivering 6 kids naturally, no medication kind of high. But this? No... I can't handle it. I have no idea what it could be, how to make it go away, or even who I should see. I can't live like this anymore. It's so incredibly depressing to live everyday in pain. To have your husband accidentally touch you on that side of your body and you break down. Other than this (and the fact that I'm slightly overweight) - I am incredibly healthy. I've always been healthy. I don't know what's wrong with me now.

Sorry about any typos, I'm mobile and sometimes my phone auto-corrects me so I sound silly!
