thank you so much for your help ill keep going even if i drive them all crazy lol they told me today that i have pressure on my brainstem so they are starting a new medication i hope this works!!!!!!
Continue to go to the local clinic, so your blood pressure can be closely monitored. See, your medications for your heart and anxiety have helped somewhat, but could be they need to adjust those periodically, so that's why I say keep going over to the clinic with regularity. One thing I can tell you is, if you still have migraines, or if you're distracted a lot by discomfort in general, that can really wreck your day, so you might could use some pain medications, like Neurontin is good for the nerves and most docs will prescribe that quicker than they would opioid derivatives, but keep in mind that drug needs to be increased sometimes threefold in the first few months.
One other issue that may be at work here is maybe your thyroid is goofed up somehow. This can cause your heart to jump all over the place the way yours has. So, next time you go in to visit the clinic, suggest that to them, see will they do a little bloodwork on you and see how that gland is doing. It regulates the heart and all sorts of things, which if it's not working right, it'll cause all sorts of misery. There are medicines you can take for it, and it takes a few tries to get the dose right, plus the thyroid levels need to be watched regularly.
I can give you some "bandaid" solutions to the way you're feeling. I have a nervous condition that has disabled me, and I found out whenever I get this anxious "things aren't right" feeling, two things help me. One is deep breathing, where you breathe in nice and deep, blow it out evenly, then breathe normally a few times. Repeat this ten times, and you probably won't get to ten, because doing that lowers your heartrate and thus lowers any anxiety you may have. The other thing is when you get spaced out, go outside in the yard or to a nearby park with your children, and just enjoy the fresh air and the "natural" trees and grass and birds, it will ground you. Sometimes at night, I'll go out and lay flat down on the grass and look at the stars, you can almost feel the earth turning, very reassuring.
I'm glad you have that clinic to go to, it sounds like those folks are the only ones who have helped you! They must have some good docs there. Oh, and if you really freak out one day, first check your pulse, do the deep breathing to get it down below 100, and keep the Crisis Intervention phone number handy if you need to talk to somebody. But be sure to have them check that thyroid thing, that could very well be what is causing all your symptoms. And if your children get overwhelming for you, do call in help from friends and relatives, stop trying so hard to do everything. It's okay, you're only human, and people do get sick now and then, so treat yourself accordingly until you can get this thing squared away.
