STENOSIS AT C6 & C7

STENOSIS AT C6 & C7

Have had numbness, tingling and pain in left arm for well over a month.  For the past 18 yrs I have been in constant neck pain and headaches after a snow ski whiplash accident and two car accidents.

MRI results show moderate stenosis of c6 and c7.

Is surgery the usual answer to this kind of problem where nerves are being compressed?

You know, it really depends on the severity, if its moderate, it might not be necessary. Physical Therapy can help a lot in these situations and there are medications that'll help too. Go see your Doctor and get something set up before it gets worse.
