Hi,
I am a 27 year old female with ankylosing spondilitis. Ankylosing Spondilitis, for those who are unaware, is a form of rheumtaoid arthritis in the spine.
For the past year, I have had numness in my right leg, right foot, sometimes right arm, and almost always right hand. Lately, I have also had times when I have experienced numbness in the right side of my face. I have had bloodwork done that has always come back as being completely normal, and am on a waitlist to see a neurologist as referred by my rheumatologist.
I have had several back xrays done in the past year, all of which came back without problems given my rheumatic condition. I am getting really stressed out about these symptoms, and am fairly certain this is making my feelings ten to twenty thousand times worse. Does anyone have any insight they can share on this? About two years ago, I was almost immobile, and during this stint with my nerve problems, my actual mobility has improved drastically. Can somebody lend some insight?
Thanks!
