Sharp Pain on left side of my head

by sweetgirl72, Jun 30, 2008 01:48PM
I have had sharp pains on and off for about 2 years now. It's about an inch behind my left ear. It's a really sharp pain. I can take Advil and it goes away. It comes and goes. Sometimes it doesn't hurt at all for months. In the last 3 days I have been getting sharp pains and I am really concerned about what I should do. I have never had a head injury, I don't have any other symptoms, just REALLY sharp pains that last maybe a couple of seconds. Also, when I touch my head it's kind of sensitive and hurts a little and when I brush my hair. What should I do??

This discussion is related to sharp pain in left base of skull.
