I have a friend who has a cyst between his 2 lobes...

what causes these cysts and how can they be treated successfully?

hi my name is kathleen a year and have breast liking got headches so my doctor told me that had to go to get a mri now they just told me that i had a cyst is it a brain tumor it's right in the middle of my head inside of my head in it it's were the the brain works and the body now the doctor i seen again and ask some off qustions like do u feel mood do u feel like nasie thorw up and lost 16 pounds and am only 4 8 feet tall iam really short i ask he i just want to yell at people get fight then the next miunte am find lost off balence am aways eating every 2 miuntes and eveything that he said to me all the answers i said yeah to everything my doctor told it's still the same since last year the cyst but i just wanted am only 23 my doctor even told me don't worried aout should i get wooried

A cyst in a brain is a fluid filled space; fluid can be blood, minerals or tissue. Cysts are usually benign growths although rarely they can be found inside malignant tumors also.
The symptoms of the brain cyst depend upon its location.
Brain cysts can be arachnoid cysts which are located between the lobes of the brain. Treatment can be watchful waiting and surgery depending upon the symptoms.
Then there are colloid cysts which are found in the roof of the third ventricles and in the choroid plexus. Dermoid cysts occur very rarely in the brain and usually occur in children.
The standard treatment of cysts is surgery.
