Side EFfect from Cervical Steroid injection

Had cervical steroid injection yesterday (tuesday) am at c5-c6. My pain was mostly in the neck/left shoulder region. have bursts of cold-clammy-ness on my left arm. I don't have much pain now, but the left side of my face (and part of the neck area, is pretty flushed, red and sore. It feels like it's burning. The right side of my face is fine. Has anyone had this kind of reaction before? I've had it about 6 hours.

Hi  there. Complications reported after interlaminar cervical epidural steroid injections include dural punchure, bloating, nausea and vomiting, vasovagal reaction, facial flushing, fever, nerve root injury, pneumocephalus, epidural hematoma, subdural hematoma, stiff neck, cushing’s syndrome, transient paraesthesias.  Complications with transforaminal cervical epidural steroid injections include neck pain, transient increased radicular pain, nausea, vasovagal reaction, non specific headache, transient light headedness, etc. the other more serious complications are paralysis, cord infarction and cerebellar infarction and death.
Call a doctor if painful headache while sitting up or standing indicating dural punchure. If you have fever of 101 degrees or more for more than 24 hours, indicating infection, losing feeling or function in legs or arms, loss of bowel and bladder control, severe pain not controlled by otc pain killers.
