Sleep Problem

Hi,
It sometimes happen with me when I am trying to sleep or waking up from it that I feel
my mind is awake but I cannot move my body. MY Head feels heavy. During this stat,
If I try to get up or move my body, I cannot do that. But I keep trying to move after
few seconds I do so and now i am fully awake. I feel like I can move my tongue and can say
something. Again if I keep saying something, samething happens and now I am fully awake.
During this state, my head feels heavy like feeling you have when you have not slept
for sometime. This used  to happen frequently a year before but now is very infriquentl.
Is this unusual and why it happens? I will much appreciate your help.

Hi,

Hope you are feeling better.
Your symptoms of not being able to move after being awake seem to indicate anxiety, stress and depression.
Have you been under undue stress lately?
Other cause can be excessive fatigue and inability to get good nights sleep. I would suggest you to keep yourself physically active and do not stay awake past your bedtime and see if it helps.
Take care!
