Internal vibration

Starting in conjunction with a missed menstral cycle, an internal vibration eminating from the mid pelvis down bilaterally in the  lower extremities began.  The sensation will give rise to numbness-episodically-to my feet and to mid calf on the right.
This went on for one month when lower back pain began in the area of the L5-S1 and SI joint.  Lab work good, MRI Lumber good.  Two weeks ago began same sensation in torso and upper extremities.  MRI brain showed UBO's in white matter, MRI C-spine normal.  The sensation in my feet is one of a tightening of the plantar surface...almost like my skin has shrunk (?).
Dr's are not able to conclude what this is.  I have been given Prednisone, Tramadol, muscle relaxers, and now Neurontin.  I am not a pill taker.  It is very important to me NOT to mask the symptoms as all but Prednisone would do.  I do not like the side effects the other drugs can produce and have them become part of the mix of what I am trying to resolve.  Could this be hormonal?  I have just started on BHRT (not before these symptoms presented, so if is not drug interaction related). Any suggestions on neuro conditions this may resemble?  M/S has been spoken of, but with all these tests, nothing has shown true to point in that direction.  Appreciate your input.

Did your scans show anything at all where u said your pain was...L5-S1? Just wondering because I also have a vibration problem! It started mildly in my pevic area, hen got stronger, & stronger going into my butt, my hips, down back of both legs & into both feet! I am going to have the radiofrequency procedure to kill the nerves in my si joint! I had an  dr. write me & he said that it sounds like nerve compression in lower back!    Best Wishes, Brandy

That's great that the labs, MRIs were normal.  Did the symptoms go away?  I was concerned about your use of BHRT when the FDA sent out this notice today:

thought you folks taking bio's, BHRT, would be interested in this report today from the FDA saying that bio's are not better than taking the individual hormones separately.  In fact, it can help to take them separately to individually adjust the dosing for each hormone:

FDA informed healthcare professionals and patients that the Agency sent letters warning seven pharmacy operations that the claims they make about the safety and effectiveness of their so-called "bio-identical hormone replacement therapy," or "BHRT" products are unsupported by medical evidence, and are considered false and misleading by the agency. The pharmacy operations improperly claim that their drugs, which contain hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and estriol (which is not a component of an FDA-approved drug and has not been proven safe and effective for any use) are superior to FDA-approved menopausal hormone therapy drugs and prevent or treat serious diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and various forms of cancer. FDA is concerned that the claims for safety, effectiveness, and superiority that these pharmacy operations are making mislead patients, as well as doctors and other healthcare professionals. Compounded drugs are not reviewed by the FDA for safety and effectiveness.

Patients who use compounded hormone therapy drugs should discuss menopausal hormone therapy options with their healthcare provider to determine if compounded drugs are the best option for their specific medical needs.
