I was diagnosed in 2002 with seizures but all the professionals that have seen me still cannot tell me what kinds, I have tons of MRI's, eegs, ekgs, Cardio grams, and more and still they have all come back normal. To this day I am on topiramate twice a day to control whatever spells happen. Just last year I was driving at 3:20am in the morning and I had tunnel vision because I was having an attack, it started off with the sharp pains in my head, tremors, and so on. That was the first time I have ever had the tunnel vision. I do believe my attacks are shifting into another realm of its own. Other than that my attacks start out with that sharp stabbing pains in my head, it literally feels like someone is taking a sharp object and jabbing it into my skull, I get numbing sensations in my nose, throat, gums, lips, tongue, and I begin to slur like I am drunk, my arms loose feeling, I start to lose my sight, and the tremors start, every now and then I will lose feeling in my leg or legs, the numbing lasts for like hour or two, my sight returns in about 2 1/2 hours but my head pain lasts FOREVER (2-3 DAYS), but I will have tests done and they all come back normal. I can even tell you that I had an MRI and I felt every area that it was scanning, my brain and on my spine, I was shaking in the tube because the areas that they were taking the pictures it was going numb, I got so sick someone had to drive me home after I had the MRI done. Curious Anyone know what kind of seizures I am having that the neurologist cannot seem to give me a straight answer and I have seen 3 so far.
