Hi, I have very similar symptoms!!! I have tingling in both my feet, but mostly in my left foot. I have tingling in the left center of my back, and sometimes tingling on left side of my chest, and occasionally in my left abdomen. I've had a brain and spine MRI both were normal!! I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in April '07 and I've been taking thyroid med (synthroid) since April. My tingling started several months prior to dx w/ hypothyroid. Endo MD thought tingling was due to underactive thyroid until recently when my thyroid levels came back into normal range (thanks to med), so endo MD no longer thinks thyroid is the cause of my tingling. He told me to go back to neurologist...who is at a loss! All my blood labs are normal, no diabetes, etc. I rarely drink alcohol. I don't have stress. But, I do work at a computer most of the day. I don't know if that can cause this. Yesterday I changed my mattress to see if that helps, but so far no change. I'm 40 at a good/normal weight. In two weeks I go back to primary care MD, back to where I started looking for diagnosis!
