Trochanter Pain after hip revision on hip replacement

by Joe1943, Nov 16, 2008 06:29PM
I have had both hips replaced.  After a revision on my right hip replacement I suffered a dislocation of the hip one month after the operation.  Now I have pain inthe trochanter area on both hips and lower left back after the doctor put the hip back in place.  All the doctors say trochanter bursitis but I have trtied everything from rehab to neurontin and cortisone but nothing stops the constant aching pain.  I have had some success with Tramadol and some hydocodone at night.  One doctor suggested the sutures could be pinching nerves?  Any suggestions??????
