Im a 38 female with Neurofibromatosis.  I have had serval tumors removed from my leg.  This time I have a softball sized tumor that grew really fast and now causing lots of pain..  My MRI results showed that there was a lot of swelling and liquide around the tumore that has them concerned.  What do you think this could mean?

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.

It will help us to know the location of this tumor. The chances are that this is a cyst or an abscess and not a solid tumor as according to your post it is growing fast and is filled with fluid. The treatment would depend upon the diagnosis.
Please discuss this possibility with your treating doctor.
